I'm having a bit of trouble tracking George Norris Acklen, s/o O. F. & V. N. Acklen.
I have seen on at least one site that he married Rachel Lnu, and had children Virginia, Norris and George Robert.
In the 1900 Jackson Co., AL census, George C. is married to a Tennis, with son Norris P. b. 1898.
In the 1910 Marion Co., TN census George D. is married to a Tennie, with sons Norris and George. (six children had died)
So are these families, George Norris, George C. and George D. the same man? Is Rachel and Tennie the same wife?
Is there anyone that can help me solve this problem?
