JOSEPH ACKLIN 1815 WILLIAMSON COUNTY ILL.

I am trying to find information on Joseph 1815. He came to Ill. from Campbell County Kentucky. He then went to Jackson county Arkansas during the civil war. I can find no record of him intering the civil war though. After the war his family is in Ill. again but he is not listed with them, All though we have reason to believe he didn't die untill 1871 or later. One researcher said he died in Campbell County Kentucky. Did he go back there after the war was over? We have record of his brother James of Campbell County Kentucky filing for and getting gardianship of his children after his death. So why would he get gardianship unless the children were there in Kentucky at that time? This is after 1870!

THERE ARE MANY QUESTAINS CONCEARNING THIS MAN! His children are " John, Isabelle, Theodore, Barnett, William, Thoams Harden, and Margaret.
