I have another name to throw in the Acklin pot. My ancestor is Charles Aclin, born VA, died 1785, Craven Co., NC. His line is found in NC, TN and AR. I have always believed (though can't prove it) that Christopher b1745 and Joseph b1732 (and perhaps a Samuel) were his brothers. Christopher is a continuing name in his line.
