The Acklin/Derrick cemetery is located at Ryland,Alabama in Madison County. The coordinates according to my GPS are North 14 46 42 and West 086 28 42.
The land around the cemetery is being sold for a subdivision. Interest in the cemetery could save it from bulldozers.
The Cemetery doesn't appear to be listed on any USGS map.
There is a post listed below as Catherine/Dau. of Ormond,Madison County, Alabama which gives information as to who is buried at Acklin/Derrick.
I would like to know more about the Ormomd family of Ryland and their possible connection to Acklins and Derricks.
