Iam searching for joseph acklin m catherine in 1804.
i have looked at the orininal marrage bond the wifes name was left blank. i have a copy of it. joseph acklin died in
1831. i have a copy of the inventory. it listed catherin and james as the executors. joseph is in the 1810,1820,1830
census have copies. then in 1840 catherine appears as the head of the house. have a copy also. their children are as i have found james,mary, martha margarette,joseph h. and agness. i follow marhta m levi dickens 1832 would have to look at my records for exact date. catherine is in 1850,1860
census have copy. also have deeds,wills inventoris, copies of an old court order book that has joseph acklin in it many many times. he worked for the courts, owned a tavern was a surveor and aappraisor have copies of all. i would like to find out what catherine maiden name is. i have found nancy acklin not sure, but acklin is her married name.
margarette willshe is not married mentioned nancy boner her sister james her brother and joseph her brother. joseph h acklin died 1870-1 i think because i have a copy of james becoming guardian of martha j. wm. henry and thos.hardin 1876. have several records on administrator an bonds for several different people who died and he was listed. you can contact me at aginn@msn.com would like to share information. i just started but my sister has been doig this for a while. i live in ky and can do the research here.
