6/27/1815 Richard Ackles and Elizabeth his wife of the town of Pompey, Onondaga County, NY mortgaged to Philip Van Cortlandt of Cortlandt, Westchester County, NY for $235 a certain piece or parcel of land situated in the county of Onondaga and is part of Subdivision number two of Lot number seventy-three in the military township of Pompey beginning at the northwest corner of the land sold to Samuel Emmons and runs east with the same to the northeast corner thereof then north so far that with a west line parallel to the first or east line to the west side and then south to the place of beginning will contain sixty six acres of land subject to the reservations and exceptions contained in the original patent. 2/21/1844 Richard Ackles and Elizabeth his wife of LaFayette sold to Phebe and Annis Ackles for $200 land on Lot 73 in LaFayette containing fifteen acres. Lot 73 in LaFayette, bounded on the south by land owned by Samuel Emmons on the west by Onondaga Creek or land formerly owned by Calvin Cole on the north by lands owned by Joseph Ackles, and on the east by the highway leading from Cardiff to Tully supposed to contain 15 acres of land more or less. 3/21/1845 Richard Ackles and Elizabeth his wife of LaFayette sold to Phebe Ackles and Annis Ackles for $150 land on Lot 73 in LaFayette containing , sixteen acres. Part of lot 73 in LaFayette bounded on the west by the highway leading from Cardiff to Tully, on the south by lands owned by Samuel Emmons, on the east by land owned by James Emmons, on the north by land owned by Joseph Ackles supposed to contain 16 acres of land. 9/1/1848 Elizabeth Ackles of LaFayette sold to Charlotte Ackles for $100 land in LaFayette on Lot 73, Subdivision 2 beginning at the southwest corner of lands formerly owned by Samuel Emmons (deceased) thence east along the south bounds of said Emmons land to his southeast corner. Thence south to the northeast corner of lands formerly owned by William Ackles.
