Hi Ken,
I saw your posted message about the Ackles family reunion and you mentioned that most Ackles would be related to James Ackles. Do you know if the James in your family tree either himself, or had descendents that lived in Michigan? I am struggling with a brick wall in my family tree, but in the 1900 census, my gr. gr. grandfather (Maynard "Emery" Dougherty) was living with a James Ackles family in Gratiot Co, Michigan.
If you don't know, or can't help me, would you be willing to take my inquiry with you to the reunion and post it? I can give you more information.
