I have some really sad news to pass on to my fellow Ackles researchers. My father-in-law, Kenneth Leo Ackels, passed away on July 6, 2001 and this is his obituary that I wrote. Haven't been able to do much of any genealogy research for about 2-3 years now (since the little one was born), but am very grateful for the data that I was able to find in regards to the Ackels / Ackles family. Couldn't have done it without your kind help. Ken loved the work I was doing with the Ackels clan and always wondered what little bit of information that I had found for the day. sincerely, laurie ackels ********************** Express-News : Obituaries July 10, 2001 San Antonio Express-News Kenneth Leo Ackels passed away Friday, July 6, 2001 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 79 years.
