11/6/1832 Charles Ackles and Phebe his wife of Tully and William Ackles of LaFayette sold to George Salisbury of Tully for $872.41 land on Lot 73 in LaFayette beginning at the southwest corner at hemlock tree marked "seven three" thence running south eighty degrees and thirty minutes east on the south bounds of the lot as aforesaid fifty-five chains and fifty links to the southeast corner of said lot thence north thirty minutes west nine chains and twenty-five links thence north eighty-nine degrees and thirty minutes west fifty-five chains and fifty links to the west bounds of said lot thence south thirty minutes east nine chains twenty-five links to the place of beginning containing fifty-one and one-quarter acres and eleven rods of land. 11/21/1836 William & Mary Ackles of LaFayette sold to George Salisbury of Tully for $2000 land on Lot 73 in LaFayette bounded beginning nine chains fifty-nine links north of the southwest corner of said lot thence south eighty-nine degrees thirty minutes east thirty-three chains thirty-six links to the centre of the highway thence north ten degrees ten minutes west nine chains eighty-three links thence north eighty-nine degrees thirty minutes west thirty-one chains sixty-three links to a stake thence south thirty minutes west nine chains fifty-eight links to the place of beginning containing thirty and three-quarters acres and twenty-two perches of land. 3/26/1842 Edmund A Wetmore of Utica & Mary Anne his wife sold to William Ackles of LaFayette for $5400 land on Lot 75 in Spafford bounded on the northwest corner of the lot and on the eastern shore of Skaneateles Lake running south along the eastern shore one hundred rods to land formerly owned by Ephraim Tucker now or formerly owned by Calvin Paterson thence east on the north line of said Patersons land one hundred eighty rods and one-half rod to the road that runs across said lot thence north four rods then east along the north line of land formerly owned by Nathan Thompson and to land formerly owned by Timothy Wells and now or lately by Henry Powers thence north on the west line of said Powers land one hundred rods to the north line of said Lot 75 thence west along the north line of said Lot 75 to the place of beginning containing two hundred acres of land more or less reserving (excepting one acre sold by a former owner to Jacob Frederic) and being hereby conveyed subject to highways and being the farm formerly known with Hall farms and lately occupied by Samuel S Willard. Salisbury of LaFayette for $2560 land on Lot 88 of LaFayette Lot 88 of town of LaFayette beginning at the north east corner of said lot running south fourteen chains and six links, then west forty-two chains and eleven links, then south one chain and fifty links then west three chains and thirty links to the centre of the highway, thence northwardly along the centre of the highway twelve chains and fifty-eight links, thence east three chains and twenty-five links, thence north five degrees east three chains and twenty-five links to the north line of the lot, thence west three chains and twenty-five links to the centre of the highway, thence northwardly along the center of said highway eighteen chains and sixty-five links, thence east thirty chains, thence south eighteen chains and fifty-three links, thence east sixteen chains and thirty-five links to the place of beginning containing one hundred seventeen acres of land more or less.

4/6/1842 William Ackles of LaFayette mortgaged to Edmund Wetmore of Utica, Oneida County for $4400 his land on Lot 75 in Spafford beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 75 and on the eastern shore of Skaneateles Lake, running thence south along the eastern shore one hundred rods to land formerly owned by Ephraim Tucker now or formerly owned by Calvin Patterson thence east on the north line of said Pattersons land one hundred and eighty rods and one-half rod to the road that runs across the lot thence north four rods thence east along the north line of land formerly owned by Nathan Thompson and to land formerly owned by Timothy Wells and now or lately by Henry Powers thence north on the west line of said Powers land one hundred rods to the north line of said Lot No 75 thence west along the north line of said Lot No 75 to the place of beginning containing two hundred acres of land more or less reserving one acre of land formerly sold to Jacob Frederic being the farm formerly known as the Hall farm and lately occupied by Samuel S Willard. William Ackles to pay $3400 plus interest plus mortgage of Lorenzo D Salisbury to William Ackles. Mortgage cancelled by Edmund Wetmore in Mortgage Book 77, Page 301. 4/6/1842 William Ackles signed over mortage of Lorenzo Salisbury to Edmund A. Wetmore. Mortgage Book 44, Page 392, FHLC 0870735

4/6/1842 William Ackles and Mary his wife of LaFayette sold to their son Horton in consideration of natural love and affection and $1.00 the north half of 200 acres of land this day bought by William Ackles from Edmund A Wetmore & his wife of Utica and conveyed to said William by deed bearing date in March last said land being situation on lot 75 in the town of Marcellus now Spafford and for a more particular description of said land which is known as the Hall farm reference may be had to the mortgage this day executed by the said William to Edmund Wetmore and half hereby conveyed to be separated from the residue of said two hundred acres by a line drawn from the lake to the east line of said farm and parallel to the north line of said lot. This conveyence however is made subject to a life estate in said premises in the parties of the first part and is not to take effect till the parties of the first part are both deceased saving and executing the reservations and exceptions contained in the original grant of the premise by the people of the State of new York if any there are.

4/24/1847 William Ackles & Mary of Spafford sold to James Van Buskirk of LaFayette for $520 Lot 73 in LaFayette beginning at the northeast corner of land formerly owned by Williams Ackles now owned by Dorwin Salsbury then west 73 chains 13 links to a stake on the east side of the north and south road then north 5 chains to a stake then west to the Onondaga Creek then south 5 chains to Dorwin Sailsburys north line then east along the said Sailsbury's north line to the stake on the east side of the north and south road as above mentioned, supposed to contain 6 acres of land.

11/3/1850 William Ackles of Spafford sold to Francis Harris of Gorham, Ontario County for $50 land on Lot 210 in Onondaga Town bounded beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot 210 running thence south on the west line of lands owned or lately owned by Obediah Nichels to a fence then along said fence north westerly to a basswood tree then northerly following the arch of a small gulf to a large gulf then northerly in the center of said gulf to the south line of land owned or formerly owned by Cheney Amidon then east to the place of beginning containing six acres of land being the same land conveyed by William Thorrington to William Ackles

4/7/1851 John Rockwell of Spafford sold to William Ackles of Otisco for $1400 land on Lot 100 in Spafford bounded on north by land owned by Squire Darby on the west by land owned by Jaber Melvin on the south by land owned by Aaron and Hannah Williamson on the east by land owned by Oren Frisbe containing three acres of ground. Also land on Lot 2 of Spafford and Otisco beginning at the south east corner of the states hundred then running north on said east line to the creek then up stream along the centre of said creek to the south line of said Lot 2 then west to the place of beginning.

4/17/1854 William Ackles and Mary his wife of Otisco sold to Aseneth Ackles of Spafford for $1000 land on Lot 2 and 12 in Spafford bounded on the north by land owned by William Churchel, on the east by Oren F. Frisbie land, on the south by Barber Williamson and Leonard Mevin's land, on the west by land owned by the widow of Abiathen Melvin containing fifty-seven and ¾ acres of land. Land mortgaged to John Rockwell.
