Looking for roots of Sarah Ackles Stuart, born OH 1830s, died in Payette Valley, ID. Married Wm. Stuart, whom she met on a wagon train headed west. In 1860 they were in Linn co., MO, next door to her brother George Ackles. Left via the Oregon Trail during Civil War and veered off to ID to seek gold. George continued to OR; his son Neri (d. 1928) was a soap manufacturer in Portland. Sarah and Geo. had a sister Mrs. Mattie McCoy.
