HI Barbara I will definitely keep your names in my book and let you know if I find anything. My Christina married H.G. Beigel in San Antonio in 1859 and he died in 1874. I come from them. I am trying to find out more about her and her parents. I went to Uffenheim where he was born 3 years ago but was unable to find any records as they were destroyed in the war. I did see the bakery which was where the Beigels baked. I have also had contact with some other Beigels who were related and are now in Israel. I am curious to know more about Christina's daughter, Nathalie. My mother remembers her and Uncle Bill, her husband. There are no photos of any of them as my great aunts, the Beigel sisters, burned everything. If you know of any Ackermann photos, I would love to be able to see them. Again, I will keep your names on my list and see what I find. I am going to the Salt Lake area in Jan and maybe I can get to their library when I am there. Also, there little center in San Antonio is helpful, but the hours are not so good. Keep in touch and good luck, Alicia Notify Administrator about this message?
