I'm not related to any Ackermann, I have a book that has info on a Chris and Fred Ackermann that mentions the Wetmore ranch. C.W.(Chris) was b. 1855 on the Salado Creek four miles east of San Antonio. Fratt Tx nine miles from San Antonio is mentioned. He married Emma Bueche in 1882. In this book he gives a narrative of his life. Anyone interested please let me know I will scan it and send it to you. I've been working on my family's and my husband's I know how helpful something like this is not only that, this article is in his own words... Cathy
