We have Williams and Johns all through our family. I'm sure we can probably tie this all together. All of our Ackermans are from Lafayette Oh. We start out with John b. 1784 and Nancy b.1788.

Their children are William b. 1810, John b. 1812, Jane b. 1808 Mariah b. 1813. William then had a John b.1838 and William b. 1840.

I'm wondering if John b. 1812 also named his children William and John(being yours).
