Thomas A. Ackerman was the son of John Ackerman and Susanna Hennion. He was born 11/12/1837 in the Ramapo Valley NJ, and he was buried at Ramsey NJ. He married Catherine Lavinia Christopher, d/o William C. Christopher and Rosanne Lake. This family went to Kansas at some point, but returned to NJ. Thomas was in the Civil War. He had:
