My great grandmother was a Jane Ackerman. She married William Woodward in Hague, Warren County, New York on February 20, 1819.
Since you didn't mention where your Jane was from, I don't know whether we have a match. Her father was James Ackerman, and her mother was Olive Bennet. My father said that she was "Pennsylvania Dutch." Their children were Betsy, Salem, Eli, Anson, Orrin, Roxanne and Lucy. I don't have any information about her parents other than that they lived in Haig. If you or anyone else has information re Jane, I would certainly appreciate it!
