Does anyone have any information on my great great grandfather Barney or Bernhard Ackerman? He was born in 1831 in Hesse, Germany. He immigrated to the US in 1869. He married my great great grandmother, Pauline Marquardt, in 1881. He died in 1926-his grave does not have the exact date. He resided all of his married life in Whitehall and Montague Michigan. I would like to find some information about his parents and his life before his marriage.
