Donna Bernice Ackerman, age 72, of St. Louis Park, MN, died May 13, 2007.
Donna was born on November 11, 1934 to Emil and Etta Zanter in Fulda, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fulda, MN. She attended the St. Paul's Lutheran School and graduated from Windom High School, Windom, MN. She was united in marriage to Donald Ackerman at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Windom, MN.
She is survived by her two childen, LuAnn Nipper and Timothy (Susan) Ackerman; four grandchildren, Kelli Ackerman, Jay Ackerman, Zachary Nipper and Nicole Nipper; sisters, Joell (Jack) Horak, Janette (Bruce) Behne, Emily (John) Johnson, Leone (Harold) Vandermoon; and brother, Richard (Diane) Zanter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Etta Zanter, and brother, Roman Zanter.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, Minneapolis. Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
