In doing research on our ancestral grandfather, I find that he was one of about 300 people of the Mormon Strangite sect participating in the coronation of James Strang on Beaver Island, Michigan in July of 1850. One of those listed as an early saint was F. Ackerman--is there anyone with additional information on this person?
