Hi again Linda -There is information in Johannis' bio that includes Elizabeth Demarest, mother of Cornelius J. Ackerman, in vol. I, pg. 82, as follows: (I'll repeat the whole para for you here) JOHANNIS G. (HANNES), son of Gerrid, bp 3 June 1753 Par Ref wit: Lawrence D. and Rachel Ackerman; d. 4 Oct 1828, bur Par Ref Churchyd (close to church and road, sandstone); m. 1777 ELIZABETH DEMAREST b. 6 May 1756, bp 7 Nov 1756 Par Ref, wit: Hannes and Elisabeth Ackerman; d. 26 July 1825, bur same (both stones gone by 1971) dau of CORNELIUS DEMAREST b 28 Feb 1722 and MARIA ACKERMAN b 18 Feb 1722. Johannis was called "Hannes" in father's will (note brother John) and received land and house where parsonage of Par Ch. now stands. Johannis G. and wife Elizabeth were on 1 May 1799 record of pre-revolutionary members of Par(amus) Ref. Ch. His father, Garret D. (Gerrid), left 3 acres to Jacobus (another son of Gerrid) which Hannes apparently bought and built the house later to become Ackerman-Nagle house, sold to Albert Wilson in 1787. Hannes apparently never lived there. This house is opposite Par Ref Ch. and south of "The Little David Ackerman House" which nearly faces Route 17. In 1805, he bought house and farm on Wierimus Road, now in Woodcliff Lake, from his father-in-law Cornelius Demarest. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything further; will be happy to send.
Regards, Kathy - Long Island, NY
