Here is information about my great, great grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Ackerman. She was married to Samuel S. LeFevre. His sibs were: Samuel b. 1800; Anna b. 1801; Effie b. 1803; Jane M b. 1805; George b 1808; John b. 1814 and Charles b 1816. Samuel S. LeFevre was born 3/23/1810 around New Paltz, NY. I know that one of Samuel's and Sarah's several children was named Aaron LeFever (he changed the spelling) and he was born 9/28/1841 and died 2/7/1911. Aaron's siblings were: George b. 1833; DeWit b. 1835; Olivia b. 1836; Phoebe Jane b 1839; Charlotte b. 1844; Catherine Ann b. 1846; Benson D. b 1849; Selina b 1851; Martha b 1853; Aletta b 1846; and Abne or Abner b 1862. Aaron LeFever was married to Mary Jane van Aken, who was born 6/6/1838 and died 9/7/1892. Aaron and Mary Jane had four children, only one of whom lived - my grandfather, Vinal LeFever born 5/18/1869 (he married Emmaline Amelia Smith, born 10/2/1877, in Sleightsburg, NY.
I put all the information about the LeFevre's in this post, in case it can help anyone identify Sarah Elizabeth Ackerman. I found a Sara Ackerman listed in a Danielle's website, and tried to email her at saguaro@1000island.net, but the email was rejected as not being on an approved list.
If anyone knows anything about Sarah Elizabeth Ackerman and who her ancestors were, please let me know. Thanks all.
