Saw your posting and your request for info from Kathy Hahn. I don't know whether she is checking these postings as I gave her uncle the information he needed back in June.
In answer to your question above, yes, Alfred was the grandson of Robert Ackerman and Roxeline Childs of Pillar Pt., NY (he born Albany Co., NY, and she born Woodstock, Ct.)
The parents of Alfred (who was a twin) were John Ackerman (b. Albany Co, later Saratoga Co, NY) and Irene Meigs (b. Conn).
If you like, I can copy all pgs. and send them to you under separate cover via snail-mail. The line goes all the way back to David, the immigrant (and still another generation further back).
