Christine, Apologies for my delay in replying. I have been busy with life in general and have not touched base with the things very important to me.
I don't have any info on Gladys Ackerman. But I have Stephen and Abraham in my direct line. My line of Acreman/Ackerman's moved from Bridport/Allington area of Dorset around mid 1800's to Mitcham, Surrey.
Working back from my father John/George/Abraham/Thomas/Abraham/Stephen/
Steven/Stephen/William.
Let me know your email address and I will send you my family tree which goes back to Stephen Acreman b1685 b Allington.
Re David whom I was querying, his dob would be around 1945/1950. Not sure he exsists !
But I would be interested to see any Ackerman info you have, I may be able to fill in some gaps, Thanks
