I am trying to locate info on Adolph Ackerman also. I am not sure if we are looking for info on the same person or not, but here is the info i have , I just recieved discharge papers from up north on my great-grandfather Adolph Ackerman. He served time in the army during the spanish american war his DOB and time of death are still unknown to me , but I do know that he is buried in Trinity Cemetary in NY I belive that is in the riverdale section?(his grave site is located next to John Jacob Astor)I am living in Florida and it has been difficult for me to travel to NY to investigate further on this , any info you have to share about the ackermans would be greatly appreciated.
