BECK_Kathleen Grace Beck passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the age of 88. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Tom Beck in 1979, and siblings Dale and Eileen in 1930. Kathleen was born to Grace and Otto Acker in Shaunavon on July 8, 1917 and raised near Orkney, Sask. Left to cherish her memory are her children Gordon (Lee), Don (Kathy), Myrna (Mike) Spurgeon, Dale (Johanne), Karen Jones all of Regina and Keith (Cecile) of Saskatoon; grandchildren Leslie Beck (Lane Rathgeber) and Lynn (Greg) Harshenin; Jeff and Laurie Beck; Scott (Yoshimi) Spurgeon and Greg Spurgeon; Andrew, Angela and Aaron Beck; Tamara and Devin Jones; Darrell (Shannon) Herbert, Trevor (Alica) Herbert, Jennifer (Ken) Piper and Stacey (Kevin) MacKay: as well as six greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Also remembering Kathleen are her sisters, Doris (Wayne) Corbin, and Helen (Gil) Thorson, her brothers Albert (Myrtle) Acker and Bill (Peggy) Acker. Kathleen's family appreciates the excellent care provided to her by the staff at Parkview Lodge. A SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE will be held at Wesley United Church, 3913 Hillsdale Street, Regina, SK on Monday, December 12 at 1:30 pm with Rev. John Haas and Kim Antosh officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, United Ostomy Association Regina Chapter, Wesley United Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice.
