Nov. 1799 by Jim Acker of 1182 A lot of the Ackers in TX are descendants of Peter, Alexander, and Christopher C., who were brothers of Alfred and sons of Joseph. Many of these descendants reside in the Cherokee Co. area, while Amos' descendants are probably in the Upshur/Camp/Hopkins Co. area.
