Christian Ackers lived next to Joseph GREEN. Later, 1770, land "granted" to Joseph Green, then owned by Elizabeth Freeland, who married Robert Robert Callderwood (or is it Collingwood ?)is sold to Peter Aker, adjacent Chrisley Akers. Names as transcribed by Brent Holcomb.(Spelling wasn't taught in the late 1700's, but we should get the gist.)
Nearby, we have Joseph Bradner who purchased land from John and Francis Beard that was originally granted to James Whahope (29 March 1753), per transcription of original Land Patents in NC.
Joseph Bradner was Exec. of John McCormack's/McCormick's (written both ways in the estate papers) will, 1770. Does anyone have a Joseph Green and Christian Acker(s) tie ? More information available, but not sure how it all ties together.
