Searching for parents of my ancestor, Jacob Acker born Oct 18 1815. Died Dec 20 1885 in Bedford County PA.
Jacob first married Susannah Teeter (1817-1843) --5 children: Mary born around 1836-md Francis Long, Elizabeth born Dec 3 1841-md John Long, Henry born Jan 13 1839--died Oct 6 1840, Susannah born June 12 1840, died Oct 12 1840 and Jacob Jr born Oct 20 1843.
Jacob Sr. second married Catharine Stambaugh(1814-1903) and they had 5 more children: Rebecca, born around 1845 -md George Berkheimer, John, born 1846-md Leah Sill, David William born Dec 16 1848 md Sarah Colebaugh, George born Aug 12 1850-md Mary and (John) Adam born 1859-md Rachel Imler.
