I start with George Edwin Acker born 5/13/1865 in Rondeau, Howard TWP, Kent CO Canada, son of Peter (circa b. 1827 and Mary Ann (b. circa 1837) both of Ontario. He had sisters Mary Jane (b. 1860); Adeline (b. 1868); Nancy (b. 1871) and a brother William (b. 1862). He married Magaret Jane Agnes Fleming in Oct 1892. Had children Edward Alexander (Sandy) in 1892 (This is my husbands grandfather); Ann in 1895, Eliza in 1898. All of this information is from the Ontario 1871/1901 census. Some was from Ontario Vital records. George came to Michigan sometime after the birth of Eliza, I have land records from 1875 in Michigan that may or may not be his, land granted under the Homestead Entry Act. They are in the right area of Michigan that I know the family ended up in. I believe there were other children born in the US but cannot verify it.
Would appreciate any information you might have on this line of family. I have more information on Maragret Fleming Acker and Sandy Acker if needed.
