I have been researching the Ackers of Memmelshoffen for the past year, and put together quite a picture from the LDS tapes. It's nearly impossible to keep them all straight. I received some information from someone that there is another microfilm for Memmelshoffen. It is Kutzenhausen Catholic baptisms and marriages #760334. It contains Memmelshoffen baptisms and marriages intersperced throughout the microfilm. Memmelshoffen info does not start until about 1725. What's more our Memmelshoffen ancestors were marrying people from about 10 surrounding towns.
One of my LDS microfilms (#717802, Marriages 1793 - 1862) has the documents for the first 13 years or so in Alsatian French. I cannot make heads or tails of those documents. Does anyone have any ideas?
