ADAM ACKER/ECKERT was born 1671 in Wiesbaden, Hessen, Germany, the son of Samuel Eckert and Maria HABIG and died 1745 in
Rhinebeck, Dutchess, New York. He married (1) ELIZABETH CATHERINE GEIB 16 Feb 1695 in Germany. He married (2) ANNA RAU 1713 in Rhinebeck, Dutchess, New York. Adam and his family were assigned to the North Ward, settlement village called, Beckmansland. Adam built a stone house in Rhinebeck, where he lived out the rest of his life. Elisabetha, Adam's 1st wife,
died shortly after the birth of their first child to be born in America in 1712. Adam and 2nd wife, Anna Rau, had eleven children, making 18 children in all for Adam. He lived to be 68
years old then died in 1745. I have lots of his descendancy. Looking for info on his parents.wdm3634@montana.com
