John B. Acker enlisted in the confederate cavalry from Pickens county, Alabama. Is he the same John Acker listed in the 1860 census of Pickens county? I need proof of birth of John B. Acker. He married Agnes Lucinda Jewell and moved to Cherokee county, Texas in 1869. He had a sister named Mary Mullins and a brother named T. W. Acker. Thanks for any help, Helen Anderson
