Warren, Joel's parents names are George & Lydia Acker. Joel was born in Lehigh Co., Pa, on 17 Oct 1817. He was christened at Ziegels Lutheran and Reformed Church in Weisenberg Twp Lehigh Co. on 7 Dec 1817. At our local genealogy society library I found a book on Pa. Births. I will find the name of it and let you know. It was very helpful. I know Joel had 10 brothers and sisters, but I do not know who they all are I am still searching. Also, for info on his parents. I will keep in touch. Carol
