Trying to establish the parentage and lineage of this Jonas Acker/Acre, who was born about 1824 in Pennsylvania.
He and his family are found on the 1860 Census for Hayfield Twp., Crawford Co., PA.
His wife was Mary Frantz, born 28 Sep 1820 in Lehigh Co., PA. Their children were: Lewis, Henry, Reuben, Alexander, John, James Albert and Mary.
His son, John (born 1855; died 1943), and his grandson, Willoughby (born 1879; son of Reuben) are buried at Saegertown Cemetery, Hayfield Twp., Crawford Co., PA.
