I recently corresponded with an individual who believed that Elizabeth Ache (Achy, Achey) was married to a Dr. Trion, and that she was part of the family that immigrated in 1752. Based on my information, she may be the daughter of Hermanus (Henry) Ache, who came to America with his two brothers on the ship Halifax, from from Rotterdam, last from Cowes, England, landing in Philadelphia on September 22, 1752. I am descended from Elizabeth's brother. The family was French Huguenot from Normandy. Hermanus Ache (and I assume his family) lived in Heidelburg Township, east of Lebanon, PA, in Lebanon County, which at that time was part of Lancaster County.

You may already have this information - if not, I hope it is helpful. If you have other or contrary information, I would be interested.

Caroline Achey Edwards
