ACHESON FAMILY, PG.. 64, 65

MARCUS W. ACHESON, Presiding Judge of the U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals, son of DAVID and MARY (WILSON) ACHESON, was born in Washington, Pa., June 7, 1828. Had a brother, ALEXANDER W. ACHESON. MARCUS moved to Pittsburgh. JUDGE ACHESON married, June 9, 1859, SOPHIE DUFF, daughter of DR. WILLIAM C. and ELIZA (REYNOLDS) REITER, of Pittsburgh. JUDGE ACHESON died June 21, 1906.
