In the 1851 Westmeath, Renfrew county, Ontario census are 4 Robinson children at the top of one page: (all born in Ireland-Margaret(11), John(9), Samuel(6), Ellen(4). At the bottom of another page are James(33) and Mary(33) Robinson, with another daughter Mary T. (could be Mary J.) age 13. Again, all born in Ireland. although these 2 pages are not next to one another in the census, I believe that this is one family. The John Robinson died in 1920 and his parents were listed as James Robinson and Mary CLEMENTS which seems to gibe with the 1851 census. There was also another Robinson family in Weastmeath/Pembroke from Ireland, but the parent's names were different. They could be related, is so, there is a good chance they are from county Antrim. In the 1881 Westmeath census, Mary is a widow(62), listed as Church of England. With her are 2 Cdn-born children Henry(24) and Agnes(19). By the 1901 Renfrew county census, Mary is living with Henry and his family, and the offspring from the other Robinson family are just 2 doors away. Mary died in Renfrew county 22 Dec 1902 at age 86 - the informant was her son Henry.
