I believe there was a David Acheson who
was a brother to my ancestor, Margaret
Acheson who married James Cockburn. I will
have to look up and see if the dates match.
My Acheson family came from Scotland
originally to Armagh and then to Eniskillen,
County Fermanagh, Ireland. If your David
is not the son of John and Sarah Elizabeth
Adams Acheson, he must surely be a relative.
