Our family tree goes back to James Acheson, b around 1700, from Co Antrim. Two of his great grandchildren were my great grandparents. My greatgrandmother's brother George Acheson, 1827-1909, had four sons: James and John both went to Queensland and James died there in 1928 leaving 7 children; Thomas went to New Zealand. The fourth, George, had two sons: John went to Australia and George to USA.
