The son was Marcus W (Wilson) Acheson, who himself had a number of children. Marcus W. became the first Federal Judge in the Pittsburgh area in the late 1800's and was a distinguished and respected judge. His son, Marcus W. Acheson Jr. was also a respected lawyer in the Pittsburgh area. He has 4 sons (including Mark III [I think we are up to Mark V or VI in that lineage]) and a daughter. One of the sons was George, who was my Father. Of those 5, only Aunt Jane is still alive at age 94 or so, in Florida.

I have a great deal of information about various members of this Family, including the lineage back through Ireland to Scotland to at least 1585. Please e-mail me with specific questions.
