I would be very interested to learn anything on the Acha surname in Spain as my mother has told me that thats where her name originated. I've been looking for any info on my Grandpa George Washington Acha who died in Racine, WI. I really want to know about his parents. My grandfather was 45 when my mother was born so my mother don't really know much about his side of the family. She does know that her Grandfather's name was Charles Acha and that he married and indian and is buried in Michigan on an indian reservation there somewhere. She don't remember if she ever knew her grandmother's name. Her Grandfather spoke French and could of came here from Canada but we don't know this. We do know that he spoke french though. At his time of death he was trying to tell something but was talking in french and no one around him could understand him.
