My father, Onias Acevedo, is originally from La Noria (near La Piedad) which is in Michoacan. His parents were from there, Heladio Acevedo and Rufina (her maiden name was Salgado). My father was born on August 8, 1922. He moved to Corona California when he was six. He has(had) 4 siblings: Elias (who died a few years ago), Mario, Hortencia, and Francisco (who died as a child). They are alive and well and living in California.
