My mother is Irma Acevedo, her parents were Louis Acevedo and Aurera Torres. I believe she was born in Ponce, PR. Her brother is Alberto Acevedo, and her sister is Anna Acevedo. I believe Alberto and Anna may still be living in Puerto Rico.
Aurera Torres (my grandmother) also had two other children prior to the above, one female named Olga (my aunt) and one male Jorge (my uncle).
I have been trying to track down information about my mother's side of the family, and also my father whose name I'm not sure is correct, or where he was from. Jose Herrero Torres is the name I found. I was told he was originally from Spain.
Any information would be most appreciated.
