I have a Harlan Absher (mother also maiden name Absher, but first name unknown) with a wife (1st? 2nd? 3rd?) Tenny Spain.
Known children: ABSHER: 1. Jane (b. 12-23-1866; d. 3-15-1899; m. Samuel M. Manier 12/9/1885, one child named Mattie Manier, m. Stanfield.
2. Steve; b. abt. 1854.
3. Wes; had children: Buddy b. 7-20-1869; d. aft. 1958.
Mora; m. a Garrison.
Cora; m. David M. Garrison(brother of above).
Mae; m. a Garrison, nephew of above Garrisons.
4. George Washington; 2nd husband of Sarah E. Jordon/Jordan; her 1st husband was Charles W. Mick, m. 10-18-1874 Saline Co., IL. Sarah & George W. are buried in Spring Grove Cem. Williamson Co., IL.(town of Marion?) Children were:
a. Charles Mick, Jr.(Sr. d. when Jr. was 5 yrs. old.
b. Rosina Absher; m. James Bangs.
c. Della Absher; m. G. W. Pool(e); child was Claude James Poole?
d. Mason Absher.
e. Jim Absher; d. age 25/26.
f. Fannie Absher; m. ?Anderson and had children Clyde; m. Dora & Scott; m. Dee.
