Hi Donna, My Abshire family is from Berkeley Co., WV, beginning with Peter, born 1838-1840; married Sara Ellen Kes(s)ler. Peter fought in the Civil War and I believe was the son of Ambrose and Charlotte Wright Abshire, Franklin Co., VA. Any of this sound familiar?
