Don, By looking at the family, I can see why so many people believe the son of Peter, Abraham's (1755) first wife is Phoebe Wright. When in actuality, it was Peter's father, Abraham (1693) who was married to Phoebe Wright. Then, it was Luke's son Abraham who married yet another Phoebe Wright. Seeme no one has a clue to Abraham, the son of Peter, first wife's name. I am descended from Abraham and 1st wife's daughter, Elizabeth who married William Mills. Their daughter Mary Polly married Nathaniel West. Their son Wilson married Melinda Mowrer, and their son Samuel married Manella Hall. Their daughter, Cleo married my dad, Charlie Blasko. I am a member of the DAR. I have traced my Patriot to Abraham Abshire. My 7 grandchildren are members of the C.A.R., Children of the American Revolution. My question is, do you know where Abraham Abshire and Susanna Vinson are buried? Not just the county but actual location. Your response would be greatly appreciated.
