My ancestor, Elizabeth Abshear was born 1819 in KY, NC or IN (the census records have conflicting info). The name Mary Elizabeth seems to be pretty common, so I just wondered if perhaps your Mary and my Elizabeth were the same? I'm having such a hard time finding her family! She married David B. Berry in 1841 in Spencer County, IN and they moved all over tarnation including AR, MO, IN, and KY.
