You may have already found this, but Simeon Abshire b. 1834 in Fanklin Co., Va was the son of John and Rhoda Bond Abshire. He married Tabitha Jane Brehm/Brim b. 1835 (daughter of James and Hannah Brim) in Franklin Co., Va on Dec. 11, 1856.
Simeon sold property in Va and moved to Peytona with three of his sisters (Elizabeth, Alia Ann, and Delilah. Two of his brothers, Peter and John, and a sister named Millie, settled in Pike Co., KY. If you want more info about any of these people, let me know, I found this in a West Virginia History book from the library.
Simeon died 9/25/1906 and he and Tabitha are buried in the Abshire Cemetary at Peytona, WV.
