Got this information from Steve regarding trying to find out who Peter Abshire's father was, and trying to find out about Lewis Abshire/Abshere/Abshawe. This is what he sent me.
Arthur Abshire,Jr.(1677-1737) was father of Peter Abshire (1704-1761)
Arthur Abshire,Jr.was son of Arthur,Sr.(1641-1708)
who was the son of Lewis Abshire (immigrant, who came to America in 1637 to James City Co, VA age 21 by transport of Theodore Moyser)(1616-1681)
who was the son of Richard (Abshawe) Abshire (1582-1635)

Does Any one have any information on this? I know alot of people want to know who Peter's father was. Is this it? Any dates regarding to Peter Abshire birth 1682/1710, is this the same Peter or is this where we have been thrown off?? Died 2-1760 Shows Peter died one year later instead of 1760, 1761..ANY HELP would be greatly APPRECIATED. Thank You
