Greetings to any who might read this.
I am Norman Abshear, yes that is the way I have spelled my last name all my life. My particular line of abshear's come from the
lumberton area of north carolina about the 1790's. Rumor has it that the origional abshear or abshire may have come over from
germany as an indentured servant. I lose the
line with a lady by the name of Sallie Abshire at about that time. Would be interested in hearing from anyone who has some info on this. my email address is
