ABSHIRE/MCELHANEY CONNECTION

I have two brothers Samuel and Robert MCELHANEY marrying two ABSHIRE sisters: Margaret and Miriem the daughters of Abraham. They married in Franklin Co. Vir. But I believe the boys came from Botetourt Co. I have the 1812 pension applications for both sisters after their husbands died. Does anyone know any more about the MCELHANEY connection? Thanks Sandy
